Muirhead Bone (1876-1953) was a Scottish etching, a dry-point and watercolour artist. His creative life coincided with period of World War -I (1924-18). He was an artist in both the First and Second World Wars. He became famous war scenes, industrial and architectural subjects. He worked on urban construction and demolition sites. He was an artist in both the First and Second World Wars.
Bone studied at the Glasgow School of Art. He was initially apprenticed as a painter of porcelain, and later as an architect's draughtsman. Bone received a knighthood in the 1937.
